Phil Gardner – Remedial Massage Specialist
“As a Remedial Massage Specialist at Mind Advantage, I operate from the long-standing belief that touch is an essential part of any healing process and that it helps people to connect with their physical (and emotional) self.
“My aim is to help you become more in touch with your body and to feel the benefits of the many wonderful techniques I am trained in (Remedial, Trigger Point, Myofascial, Lymphatic – just to name a few!). I love the success people experience when they achieve the freedom of movement their bodies were designed for. I wasn’t, however, always ‘in touch’, so to speak.
“I had a long career in IT where I learnt first-hand what the stresses and strains of working in a corporate office can do to your body. I was unfit, felt lethargic and caught colds and flu more often. However during this time I always had a string of family and friends lining up for massages from me, which I found I really loved doing. So in 2004 I decided to turn my massage talents into a new career.
“Following formal education and training in the health industry, I have learnt just how much Bodywork & Massage can help alleviate symptoms and promote wellbeing again.
“I now have had hundreds of hours of experience and have treated a wide range of injuries – both acute and chronic. I love it when my clients tell me they feel so much better after a treatment! It gives me an immense sense of satisfaction to know that in helping individuals feel better, I am helping their worlds of work, family, relationships and more to flow easily. The Mind Advantage philosophy of combining mind, body & heart to achieve dreams makes the work I do here especially rewarding.”
